Welcome to SJPC

Greetings from St. John’s Pentecostal Church (SJPC): House of Restoration Ministries. We are thankful that you have chosen to worship with us. We are excited to share with you the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our online services. Our desire is that through our broadcasts you learn more about Jesus Christ as you connect to our ministry.

We pray that God anoints you with fresh oil, so that you are refreshed and renewed.

We hope that you seek to have a deeper experience with God and your heart draws closer to Him. We pray that the issues of life will not overcome you. Let God’s Word illuminate your journey and provide you with guidance in handling life’s struggles. We pray that you develop a spiritually fulfilling relationship with Him by regularly reading the Bible, engaging in prayer and attending church services. We hope that you will choose to share your gifts and talents to advance the Kingdom of God.

We speak blessings into your life, over your marriage, your family and your ministry. We pray that you put your trust in God, so that you may walk righteously; let the Holy Spirit fill you with peace, restore your joy, and cause you to overflow with hope (Romans 15:13). You will accomplish God’s plan for your life. May the grace of God preserve your going out and your coming in for today and for all your tomorrows.

Who are we?

Learn who we are?

The ministries of the SJPC House of Restoration Ministries all work towards bringing glory and honour unto Jesus our Lord, and God the Father. They encourage the spiritual growth of members starting with tots and teens in the Junior Church, adults involved in the worship team, and male and female believers engaged in the Men’s and Women’s Ministries.

Our moto

To bring people to Jesus and membership in his family, develop them to Christlike maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.

Our history

St. John’s Pentecostal Church had very humble beginnings. Under a coconut palm tree, a few Pentecostal Christian immigrants from Montserrat met within a small shed to worship God and preach the Pentecostal message. The early pioneers: Brother James Rodney, Sisters Mary Brades and Alley Browne (all deceased) started the assembly in St. John’s, Antigua in 1943.

Our Prayer

We speak blessings into your life, over your marriage, your family and your ministry. We pray that you put your trust in God, so that you may walk righteously; let the Holy Spirit fill you with peace, restore your joy, and cause you to overflow with hope (Romans 15:13). You will accomplish God’s plan for your life. May the grace of God preserve your going out and your coming in for today and for all your tomorrows.
